Episode 26 - USS JANSSEN
USS JANSSEN DE-396 encountered three different submarines during WWII. While rescuing sailors from one of them, she even saved a spy! For her outstanding antisubmarine work during 1943-1944 within a convoy, she was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation. Learn more about her service with our curator, John!
