SLATER Guided Tour (1 Hour) : Our most popular option. This tour will take you through 80% of the ship, including an example of all weaponry, berthing compartment, mess deck, galley, radio, pilot house, and CIC.

Stem to Stern Tour (2 Hours) : (Not available for children under 13) If you still need more information this tour is for you! You will see everything offered on the 1 hour tour and then head down to the Engine Room and Collections Space.

Engine Room (30 Mins.) : (Not available for children under 13) See SLATER’s diesel electric propulsion system in her 2 after engine room compartments.

Collections (30 Mins.) : View the artifacts on display in our Collections Compartment. You’ll see items from Destroyer Escorts that have been donated to us by the sailors and their families.

Main Deck Tour (30 Mins.) : Get aboard the ship and don’t worry about those tricky ladders. You’ll see the 3 inch /50 caliber gun, Officer’s Country, the galley, Depth Charges, fantail, and the ever-relatable head.
